As a Mom and an active member of the community, Megan feels that it is important to give back. To her, giving back means helping those who are less fortunate and or those who really need our help and support. As a strong role model to her children and her community, Megan gets real satisfaction in helping out and getting involved in different programs. To Megan, charity is more than the money; it is a commitment to give something of yourself to benefit others.
Megan works closely with the people in her immediate community. She is the Co-Chairperson on the School Advisory Council; she also supports the Girls and Boys Mississauga Hockey League, Children's Aid, Salvation Army and gives blood at the Canadian Red Cross blood bank wherever possible.
Some of the larger programs that Megan is passionate about and shows her commitment through donations of money and time to are:

The day was a massive hit with crafts, prizes and of course Santa. Thanks to all the wonderful families who made this event what is was, fun! A big round of applause for our high school volunteers Nicole, Heather, Devan, Tavis, Hunter, Peter, Michael, Zac, Max, and James for their help.
